Fantasy and science fiction and speculative fiction book reviews, author interviews, bestseller news, contests and giveaways, etc. Enjoy!
I gave up reading this series as it came out years ago(before winters heart, I think), deciding to wait till they were all out to read. This makes me reconsider this policy.
When I heard Brandon Sanderson was taking up the story, I became interested again. (Now if they'd only give the series different cover art in America. Then I'd probably buy the whole thing.)
The trailer is pretty damn impressive, and it's the best quality book trailer I've seen in a long while. I've still not read any Wheel of Time (though I own about three of them), but the Jordan/Sanderson collab is making me more motivated to start.
I'm still a book behind (two maybe?) - are there spoilers in the trailer?
SO EXCITED! The entire series is fantastic and although it seemed to get a bit too big and muddled in the middle Brandon has done a FANTASTIC job of refocusing the entire work and is visibly bringing the work to a close.Cant wait to get my hands on a copy of this one!
@Jeff - yes there are. The whole thing is about a whole paragraph from The Gathering Storm, verbatim. Though you've probably already figured out what they're talking about, it has not been blatantly stated until TGS, so I wouldn't watch the Trailer until you've finished the book.
Pat, a spoiler warning would be nice for us readers who are waiting for the series to be finished before buying the last three books. :)
Spoilers go without saying. It's like picking up a trilogy and reading the back of each book before starting to read the first one, of course you'll be spoiled. If TToM isn't your next WoT book to read, you can safely skip viewing this preview.C.B.
